The NMRA Achievement Program is designed to develop and recognize model railroading skills in eleven categories. When a member earns an Achievement Certificate in seven of the eleven categories, he or she is designated a Master Model Railroader or MMR. Region Master Model Railroaders are listed here. For many members, qualifying for the Golden Spike Award is a first step to participation in the Achievement Program.
