Division "show and tell." Tell us about something you have done or experienced in model railroading. 5 to 20 minutes. Call Fred Henize or Keith Lipske if you are interested. | All things intermodel. From the earliest TOFC to today's variety of containers and cars that carry them. |
| November 1, 2009 | TBA | National Model RR month. Celebrate with steam locomotives. Two categories: Engines assigned freights and those assigned to passenger trains. |
| December 6, 2009 | Holiday party with entertainment. | Photo contest: all categories, models, prototypes, B&W, color, prints, slides and digital formats. |
| January 10, 2010 | Wiring your layout by Ron Scharping and Jim Duffin | Cabooses, EDTs. Begin the new year with the end of the train. Anything (waycars, cabooses, combines) and/or the current day flashing REDs on your favorite freight car are permitted. |

| March 7, 2010 | TBAA 50-year Acquaintance with Mainline Excursion Steam by Patrick Golden | Annual All Categories Model Contest – Includes locomotives, cars, buildings, scenic vistas, photos. etc |
| March 27, 2010 | All American Railroad Show at Lyons Township High School Field house - 29th Annual | 9am to 5pm Admission $4 (under age 5 are free) Located at the corner of Brainerd and Cossitt in LaGrange IL. A short walk from the BNSF West Lines Stone Avenue Metra Station |
| April 11, 2010 | Division Layout Tours - Note new date due to Easter. Must present current NMRA membership card to attend tours. | No contest this month |
| May 2, 2010 | "Railroads I can see from my house," by Dave Phillips | Division wide contest - CB&Q depot at Wick IA from the April 1996 NMRA Bulletin (pages 20&21). Plans will be available at meetings also. |
